Fifty Acres is looking for two passionate interns looking to make their ways into the fields of communication and government engagement. If that sounds like you, read more below.

  • We have two roles available for a communications and government engagement intern.
  • If you are currently studying a degree in media, communications or PR, international relations, public policy or similar, then we want to hear from you!
  • You must be required to undertake an internship for their program of study
  • Work virtually from your university with flexible hours to suit your study schedule
  • This is a great opportunity that will be seen favourably on your CV by future employers 

 

Fifty Acres offers virtual internships to students across Australia including regional or rural Australia. The successful applicants will be passionate about forging a career in communications or government engagement.  You will be required to write proficiently, and be reliable and committed to this professional role for the internship period.

Applicants must be able to access the Internet, a mobile or a landline through their learning institution. 

Interns will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, from corporate organisations and government departments to dynamic not-for-profits and will gain an understanding of media, stakeholder and government relations tasks. 

Tasks involved include, but are not limited to:

  • Online research and data entry
  • Writing client materials
  • Stakeholder and media list preparation
  • Preparing political briefs for clients
