Launch of APAC Advocacy and Public Affairs Outlook Survey
We’d love to hear from you!
We’re proud to share that Fifty Acres, in partnership with YouGov, has launched the APAC Advocacy and Public Affairs Outlook Survey, with the first edition focused on Australia.
This new quarterly survey aims to provide a regular snapshot of confidence, priorities and emerging challenges across the advocacy and public affairs sector, and track how these shift over time.
If you work for an organisation involved in advocacy, public affairs, policy or stakeholder engagement, we’d love to hear from you. Your insights will help build a clearer picture of the sector and the environment organisations are navigating. The survey will be open till 11 September 2026.

Survey FAQs
Who are Fifty Acres?
Fifty Acres is Australia’s leading communications and engagement agency. Our team of experts works with organisations small and large across Australia, to deliver intelligent communications and engagement strategies, integrated campaigns and events, workshops and training and content development.
Who are YouGov?
YouGov is a global research data and analytics group. With operations in the Americas, Mainland Europe, the UK and Asia Pacific, YouGov have one of the world’s largest research networks and is seen as the most trusted market research provider globally.
YouGov helps the world’s leading brands, media owners and agencies understand audiences, track brand and reputation, plan and optimize marketing, and make better decisions with confidence.
Why is the survey important?
There is currently limited regular research capturing the experiences and perspectives of people working across advocacy and public affairs. The survey aims to help build a clearer picture of the environment organisations are operating in, the challenges they are facing and the issues shaping their work.
Over time, we hope the survey will provide a useful benchmark for the sector and help identify emerging trends and changes.
How will the survey results be used?
The findings will be analysed and shared through the APAC Advocacy and Public Affairs Outlook, including key trends and insights from across the sector.
Results may also be used in communications about the research, including media, events, webinars and other Fifty Acres and YouGov channels. Findings will be reported in aggregate and will not identify individual respondents or organisations.
Will survey responses be anonymised?
Yes. Responses will be treated as anonymous and confidential. Findings will be reported in aggregate, and individual respondents or organisations will not be identified through the published research.
