At Fifty Acres we like to describe ourselves as more than just an Australian based PR agency. The truth is – we do so much more than that.

Instead, we introduce ourselves as a team of communications and engagement experts, with a passion to deliver public relations in a way that is seamless and impactful for our clients.

Founded in 2010, Jo Scard built the Agency on her two decades of experience in communications, corporate and political advisory roles, campaigning and journalism. With a natural flair for words and developing strategic frameworks to achieve outcomes, Fifty Acres was built on the ethos to deliver great work for great people.

Since 2010, Fifty Acres have paved the way in the for-good space, with a committed team of communicators, innovators and strategists, all driven by the same goal. With contacts and professional relationships across Australia and around the globe, we have established a team philosophy in working alongside client teams that align with our values.

This means that we are passionate about working with purpose-driven teams, social impact organisations and individuals that are similarly determined in leaving a positive footprint. Operating from a virtual workplace, we prioritise minimising our environmental impact and giving undivided attention to our clients in the not-for-profit and for-purpose space.

Underpinning all of our project goals and management is the drive to produce extraordinary results for extraordinary people. With years of PR and communications experience behind us – and invaluable exposure to integrated campaigns for companies and individuals in the for-good and social impact sector – we do more than simply just get the job done.

Importantly, the relationships that we establish with the people that we work with are always at the forefront of our project priorities. We know more than anyone that communications and public relations should not be treated as a last-minute addition to an overarching business plan. Instead, we develop meaningful relationships with our clients so that we can form purposeful partnerships and support their broader organisational goals.

How we support our clients

PR agencies are a good way to ensure that you are properly sharing your brand’s purpose through a range of strategic and effective media channels. More than just PR, experts in strategic communications will identify what your specific brand needs and why, how to achieve it and how to ensure you consistently and accurately featured through the right outlets. This is our bread and butter at Fifty Acres.

When working alongside our clients to improve their overall public engagement or sentiment, we will develop a strategy that covers all bases, assist with the smooth roll-out of project tasks and always ensure that you properly understand the “why?” and the “how?”. More than consultancy, we properly prepare our clients for speaking with the media, workshop teams so that they can understand the power of PR and leverage existing narratives to make real impact.
